ESCCAP’s latest guideline: Parasite Control in Travelling and Imported Pets is now available in Polish. It offers detailed advice on how to protect dogs and cats that travel or are imported across European borders, minimise the risk of zoonotic transmission and prevent the establishment of new parasites in previously unaffected areas.

New and updated life cycles

New and updated life cycles
Two new life cycles have been added to the website: Fox lungworm (Crenosoma vulpis). Threadworm (Strongyloides stercoralis). The following life cycles have also been updated: Hookworms (Ancylostoma and Uncinaria spp.). French heartworm (Angiostrongylus vasorum). Dog roundworm (Toxocara canis). These resources can be viewed online or downloaded directly via the Guidelines drop-down menu or by clicking www.esccap.org/life-cycles/gl1.

ESCCAP is pleased to announce that two of its key resources have been translated into Estonian and are now available on the ESCCAP website. The newly-translated fact sheets provide practical guidance for veterinary professionals on creating individual worm management plans for dogs and cats.
