Parasitological hazards of companion animals during conditions of war

Parasitological hazards of companion animals during conditions of war
ESCCAP Ukraine is working on a project to discover the parasitological hazards of companion animals during conditions of war. DNA detection by PCR has confirmed the presence of Dirofilaria repens, Dirofilaria immitis and Acanthocheilonema reconditum. Ongoing efforts will also include screening for the presence of Leishmania spp. Thank you to our Ukrainian colleagues and fellow volunteers for carrying out this work in high-risk areas such as Kharkiv and Sumy. Thank you also to all those sponsoring the initiative and to the collective efforts of the following partners:https://uacbbc.org/ua.https://upaw.org/ua/.https://www.facebook.com/fourpaws.org.https://www.facebook.com/VeterinaryFoundation/.https://www.facebook.com/izbalekwet/. . . .
